Guidelines For Opening Our Church From COVID-19
Presently We Are Not Having Sunday School Classes
Mid-Week Service is @ 7pm
(When available, an online lesson will be given via Facebook and our YouTube channel)
These recommendations are for our church family as we begin holding services inside our church facility on Sunday, May 31st, in a way that will help protect our members' health as we strive to minister to their souls. When we open our church building, we have a greater social responsibility for keeping everyone safe, so we are making preparations by cleaning our building and will attempt to educate and remind our members concerning the guidelines for social distancing at this time.
If you are currently ill or are not comfortable gathering in groups, we encourage you to join us for worship via our online media sources
We encourage our families to sit together as a family unit and be seated at least 6ft. from other families. We also encourage everyone to avoid Hugs and handshakes for the next few weeks
Wearing of a face covering is allowed, and encouraged if you so choose
We will not have Sunday School classes, offer nursery services, or have family fellowship dinners at least until June 21st or possibly later
Cleanliness & Godliness
We will offer plenty of Hand Sanitizer in the entryway and foyer and at each corner of the sound booth
We will strive to clean the common areas of worship after each service
We will shorten service time to 1 hour to cut down the exposure time and to decrease the number of people needing to use the restroom
We will not pass an offering plate from person to person, but will instead have a “giving box” at the altar area to be used at offering time
During the times we have communion we will use individual communion packets
These are our present guidelines as we prepare for gathering in worship and can be amended or added to. If you notice something that you feel would be beneficial in this effort to create a healthy environment for worship, let us know and we will consider it.
