Pentecostal Power Ministries
is more than just another church,
it is a life changing experience.
An experience that began in the book of Acts and
continues today throughout the world. An
experience that gives us new direction, new
purpose, new joy and hope.
Pentecostal Power Ministries is built around these
three practiced truths that embody our church motto:
"Loving Jesus, Changing Lives & Serving Our Community"
I.) "Loving
Jesus" is a timeless truth and a fulfillment
of the greatest commandment as confirmed by Jesus'
own words: "Master,
which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus
said unto him, Thou shalt
love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and
with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is
the first and great commandment. "
Matt.
22:36-38
If we truly love God then our lives
will exhibit that love by our words and actions.
It is not simply a statement of devotion that is
expressed but one that is shown through a persons daily
living and their willingness to follow after God with
all their heart, putting Him first in all areas of their
life. II.)
"Changing Lives" is something that
just comes natural when you come in touch with the
saving power of Jesus Christ. Like the women who
had the disease of her blood healed in Matthew 9, who
said to herself "If I may but touch his
garment, I shall be whole", we too
have found that one touch from the master will change
a life forever. She had real faith in her heart,
not just a thought, but faith that was put in action
when she reached out to Jesus. So it is with
anyone who has the faith to reach out to Jesus in
prayer and touch Him. Their lives are changed
forever.
III.)
"Serving our community" embodies what
Jesus called the second greatest commandment when he
said "And the second is like
unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself"
Matt 22:39. Pentecostal Power Ministries strives
to serve our community through the gospel of Jesus
Christ, community involvement, free family enrichment
seminars & our Compassion Ministry. Each of our
church ministries, whether it's Preserving Christian
Homes, Children Ministries, Sunday School, etc., has at
it's heart the desire to reach out to each and every
member of our community in various ways.
Someone once said; "it's easy to
serve Jesus hard, but hard to serve Jesus easy".
Jesus himself put it this way: "No one can serve
two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and
love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the
other. You cannot serve God and wealth".
Yes it is true, when we start out our relationship with
Jesus Christ by giving Him ALL of our heart, the journey
is so much easier.
