Tent Revival News

We thank the Lord for blessing us with a great tent revival.  It began on Saturday May 20th and continued through May 23rd.  Each night was a great time of worship and anointed singing.  We enjoyed not only the special groups and choirs, but also the many musicians who attended from the surrounding area to help us in making the revival a great success.

Each night our evangelist Eli Hernandez ministered to all the needs of the people.  Not only were 9 people filled with the Holy Ghost (the same experience recorded in the book of Acts) but many burdens were lifted and sicknesses were healed.  God truly is the same yesterday, today and forever.  We know that our community will not soon forget this great revival and the things that God has done.

On the final night of revival an unusual event took place.  While the evangelist ministered to the people, a car had a very severe accident appox. 200 ft from our tent.  The car flipped 2 or 3 times and the driver, a young lady, was thrown from her car up against a garage door suffering many visible injuries.  Some of the men from our revival immediately ran over to her and began praying for her in Jesus name.  She immediately took a deep breath and began to awaken.  They continued to pray with and comfort her, and as they did her wounds which were bleeding badly quickly stopped.  Praise the Lord for the power of prayer!

We are glad to report that she was released from the hospital only 4 days after her accident, when the doctors said it would be 2 1/2 weeks!  We are rejoicing that our prayers were answered through the power of Jesus name.  We will continue to pray for her complete recovery in the days ahead.  Praise be to God our healer and provider!
