Ministry Leader: Les Misemer

Compassion ministry of PPM is not just another "feel good" phrase to be passed around casually with false pretenses.  It embodies the very nature of Jesus who was moved with compassion many times in the scripture, and each
time somebody's life was changed.   Through our "Compassion" ministry we are endeavoring to be the extension of Jesus' nature by reaching out the physical needs of people as funds allow.  To reach out and touch lives in a way that
Jesus would have us to when they are unable to help themself.  We at Pentecostal Power know that you can't just talk the walk, you've got to walk the walk!  Jesus put it this way:
I Jn 3:16-18
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

You see it's not a commandment to help others but a natural reaction when the love of God is in your heart.  We at New Life have committed this year to putting a percentage of our offerings aside strictly for the purpose of helping those in need.  We realize we can only do so much, but the little we
can do will mean so much to those who need it most.  We are glad to have Bro. Misemer oversee this ministry.  He is not only capable in his ability but most importantly in his heart.
