PLEASE READ OUR CHURCH DECLARATION

 

Welcome To Pentecostal Power Ministries, where there is room for everyone and everyone has a place.  We are simply people who strive to live up to our church motto: "Loving Jesus, Touching Lives & Serving Our Community". We are a Christ-Centered church that is built upon the infallible Word of God.

As such, it shall: 

I.  Strive to minister to the community and world led by the example of Jesus Christ, the apostles and the New Testament church.  The church of Jesus Christ began in a Pentecostal fire (Acts 1-2) and it continues to impact the world in an unending story much like the book of Acts declares.
II. We shall without hesitation impart the whole Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion. 


We are further committed to: 

I.  Actively spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ
II. Ministering help and healing to the hurting 
III. Providing a climate for spiritual growth which: 

° Encourages spiritual sensitivity and promotes a hunger for the things of God
° Encourages the believer to dig deeper into the Word of God and find a lasting and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
° Teaches and maintains traditional family values according to Gods Holy Word.

One of the first things visitors notice is the friendliness of our people and the powerful presence of the Lord that is evident in our services from the opening song to the anointed message from God.  We strive to present ministries and opportunities that are available to meet the individuals needs and Gods desire for their life and family.

We are a growing, thriving church family that has been changed forever by the power of a Pentecostal experience.  If you are seeking to develop truly new and lasting friendships, you'll be fit right in at New Life.

The basis of our church is the foundation laid by Jesus' Apostles.  On this premise of prayer, study, heart-felt worship, honest relationships, and compassion for others, we are affecting our families, our communities, and our world.

Together we are growing together in Christ and uniting together in Truth to become more like Him.  So, whether you are just beginning to ask questions about God, or you are a committed Christian who desires deeper roots in your faith, there is a place for you at the New Life Center.

About Our Church Family      

Pentecostal Power Ministries was born on March 10, 1997 out of the shared burden of the Pastor of our mother church, New Life Center of Bridgeton, Mo. and that of Rev. & Mrs Dewayne Presson.  Together we have a wonderful history of generous and caring people.  The Bridgeton church had its beginning in the heart of our founding pastor, Rev. Guy E. Roam in 1948 and has continued to grow and flourish under the existing leadership.

We thank God for the good people of our mother church who have contributed greatly to our future with their time, efforts and talents.  Together we build for the glory of God working together in the field to bring in the harvest of souls.  We thank the Lord Jesus for our newly renovated church building he has given us to worship in.  With the Lords blessings we have grown from a small family of 8 to one averaging over 50. Praise be to God !

Now we look to the future with our recent purchase of 7.5 acres in the city of Warrenton.  Together we build for His glory!

Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship. That’s why we make it a priority to build lasting bonds between the members of our church family - bonds of concern and genuine commitment to one another.  Best of all, this circle of care is ever widening.  We’d love for it to include you, too.

 

A Place for Learning 

To us, studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but also guides us spiritually.  We believe it and accept is as God’s Word to man, a Book that is alive and relevant to life today.  Learning its truths is a thrilling adventure.

 

A Place for Family

The family is very important to the Lord Jesus Christ .  The spirit of this world tries to tear it apart, but the Spirit of Christ longs so much to draw it near and embrace it and strengthen it with his Holy Word.  With that in mind, we offer a variety of Activities/Studies for all ages.  Whether it’s Sunday School, Bible Studies or other times of fellowship, the family is very important to us !

 

A Place for Service 

Just as Jesus Christ came "not to be ministered unto, but to minister..." we accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others.  This applies both within the church family and outside our fellowship.

 

A Place for Worship 

The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God, giving him our worship and receiving His blessing and inspiration.  Each of these occasions is a special time of spiritual refreshment.  We hope this is what you experienced today, and we certainly hope to see you again very soon.
