PHASE THREE OF BUILDING PROGRAM COMPLETED

Updated March 2008

Pentecostal Power Ministries is excited about what God has done in the past for our church as we look to the future with faith. It has been nine years now since we had our first service in a storefront. Now as we settle into our new location on 3.5 acres, (25448 S. Hwy 47, 3.5 miles south of I-70) we look to the next part of our building program. Phase two of our building program was accomplished in November 2005 when we built a storage/maintenance shed that is appox. 24x40, to be used for storage and vehicle maintenance.

Phase three of our building program was completed in October 2006, the completion of the exterior of our future facilities.  The new facility will include five classrooms to be used for Sunday School, Prayer Room, Youth Room and a future daycare. The new extension includes a new auditorium that will seat 250.  The exterior of the new expansion is complete and all the rooms have been framed in.  We now have bids to complete heating/ac, electrical, insulating and drywall.  After it is completed (by July 2008) the present auditorium will then be converted and used as a multi-purpose room for fellowship dinners, youth activities, young married socials and children's church. We will also prepare the back of our property to be used for outside activities, such as softball, volleyball, basketball, etc. More info will follow.

We are committed to being a beacon of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

As such, we shall:

I. Strive to minister to the community and world led by the example of Jesus Christ, the apostles and the New Testament church. The church of Jesus Christ began in a Pentecostal fire (Acts 1-2) and it continues to impact the world and change lives in an unending story.

II. We shall without hesitation impart the whole Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.

We are further Actively spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ
II. Ministering help and healing to the hurting
III. Providing a climate for spiritual growth which:

  • Encourages spiritual sensitivity and promotes a hunger for the things of God

  • Encourages the believer to dig deeper into the Word of God and find a lasting and growing relationship with Jesus Christ

  • Teaches and maintains traditional family values according to Gods Holy Word

One of the first things visitors notice is the friendliness of our people and the powerful presence of the Lord throughout the service. We strive to present ministries and opportunities that are available to meet the individuals needs and Gods desire for their life and family.

We are a growing and caring church family that has been changed forever by the power of a Pentecostal experience that is straight from the book of Acts. If you are seeking to develop truly new and lasting friendships, you'll fit right in at PPM.

The basis of our church is the foundation laid by Jesus' Apostles. On this premise of prayer, study, heart-felt worship, honest relationships, and compassion for others, we are affecting our families, our communities, and our world.

Together we are growing together in Christ and uniting together in Truth. So, whether you are just beginning to ask questions about God, or you are a committed Christian who desires deeper roots in your faith, there is a place for you at the Pentecostal Power Ministries. A place where we try to live our church motto “Loving Jesus, Touching Lives & Serving Our Community”.
